Megan and Adam are Married {Augusta Curtis Cultural Center – Meriden, CT} Sassy Mouth Photography
I woke up on Sunday morning to find that in one night, the rain had taken away all my snow, and it was a bit muddy, a bit wet, a bit gross out. But while driving to Megan and Adam’s wedding in Meriden, CT the sun broke through the clouds and began to dry up the world. Big white fluffy clouds filled the sky, which was a beautiful deep blue color. I knew it would all be alright. The ceremony was held at The First United Methodist Church in Meriden, and reception was across the street at the Augusta Curtist Cultural Center. With perfect decorations in the church, and a fabulous lighted dance floor at the center, there were a bunch of lovely photos to sort through. Here are a few of my quick favorites. A dreamy Christmas morning
Dont you wish you had a picture of yourself waking up on Christmas morning, and walking down the hallway towards the Christmas tree and presents?? I sure do! And I wish I had a red tu-tu on as well! Lilly is my favorite model, and a great niece! Enjoy!

Queen of Hearts
While poking around Twitter, I came across a cool link on how to change the bokah (blurry background part of a photo) when shooting a subject in front of lights. How cool is this?? I can’t wait to get a bit more creative with shapes, and the subject in front of them, but until then, enjoy this little teddy bear in front of some sweeeeeet heart shaped lights. Normally they would be circular.

Santa Baby
Lilly is being such a great big sister to Abby. She even wants to share her baby sister with Santa! So she is wrapping her up and sending her to the North Pole, because even Santa needs a present on Christmas! Haha. Enjoy!

Augie and Nicole are Married {Hartford City Hall – Hartford, CT} Sassy Mouth Photography
I met Augie and Nicole about a month and a half ago. They had gotten my name from his mother, who works with a former mother of the bride from a past wedding, Heather and Seamus’. So happy when I get referrals, that means the job I did was appreciated enough to pass it along! Augie and Nicole are awesome people, with an amazing family, and I am so happy they had me along to document their day! We started with first look and family pictures at Hartford’s City Hall. What an amazing place! There were two other wedding parties there, so we had to work around each other (although I think I did the most ‘working around’ as the other two had their own agendas, tsk tsk) but we were just fine, and got some fabulous shots! The reception was at Mt. Carmel hall, Casa Mia does the food there, so tasty! Thank you both so much, you have a beautiful family! Enjoy!

Winter Family Fun!
I got a phone call from Jessica Adams the other day. She has come across my fan page on Facebook thanks to the suggestion of another fabulous fan! After having bad experiences with in mall portrait studio, she wanted to try a different sort of family photo session. I assured her I was a different type of photographer, and looked forward to hanging out with her, her husband, and three sons. And for a chilly December day, we had a blast! Enjoy!
