I woke up on the morning of our first big statewide snowstorm of the 2015 on a mission. A few sassy selfie snow portraits were in order, and had to be done before the world fully woke up from their snow coma. My grey Candies flower applique hat, and stunning Iman gloves were both Christmas gifts that were waiting for the right occasion to be busted out. This was certainly it. Mr. Sassy makes an appearance at the end, all geared up for some snow shoveling.
My brother Chaz and his longtime girlfriend Allie moved to Florida almost two years ago, to learn about life, love, and become grown ups. Now living in an adorable house in Clearwater, Florida, they welcomed my Momma, TJ and I for 11 days as their house guests for our Christmas vacation. We did these pictures the last day, a few hours before we left on a plane to come back to the arctic tundra of Connecticut. My brother uses his artistic streak to create custom RC cars in ‘the cabin’ (an addition to the original house that he subconsciously turned into an ode to the cabin we spent half of our childhood in) and Allie is such a good little (hopefully someday girl!) wifey that cooks and takes care of her man. I am very proud of them doing their thing, and doing it well. Good job! Thank you for all your hospitality and for having us live with you in your home, I loved sleeping in The Cabin and all the family bonding.
Jack, the cat, kinda stole the photoshoot, but we all knew that was going to happen. He is adorable.
